Retreat on the Green

Le calme la propreté et l’équipement ainsi que les attentions à l’arrivée (pain, lait, beurre…), les boissons en option.

Les matelas sont malheureusement très mauvais, à changer d’urgence comparativement à tous les logements que nous avons loués. Le canapé est aussi particulièrement inconfortable. C’est vraiment dommage car pour nous (et je pense que beaucoup d’autres visiteurs aussi) c’est un point essentiel, tout autant que la propreté et le calme.

Very nice comfortable apartment, bright and cheerful, attractive decor. Well-equipped. Spotlessly clean. Excellent, quiet location. Good fast wifi. Had everything we needed.

This little gem of an apartment is central in Hove. We could sit outside in the afternoon in the sunshine, and the children enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood with a playground and ball court just 150 m away. Street parking is easy. Hove is situated well for driving around Cotswolds, and we particularly enjoyed the safari at Longleat. Thank you for wonderful stay!

The apartment is well equipped, but there is only a fridge without a freezer.

Great little spot to stay, Lovely accommodation and communicative host

We stayed in this place with two teenage children and it was very comfortable for us all. The place was tastefully and freshly decorated. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay - well-equipped kitchen, a coffee plunger, a dishwasher, washing machine, even some kids’ toys. The owner kindly left some tea, coffee, milk and snacks as well which was greatly appreciated after a long car journey. The shower and bath were very nice. Plenty of spaces to put our stuff.

The furniture is not particularly comfortable. The couch is made from a strange material which makes the noise when you sit down. And the main bed was comfortable but cheaply made so the slats kept popping out during the night and my husband ended up on the floor a few times. We also had some trouble finding the place using the gps directions - perhaps more instructions are needed.
