Very dated and old. Furniture was damaged sun worn, building is damaged and old in need of renovations, glasses and cups were stained some still had dried old food on, coffee sticks are so old the coffee has become like a hard stone. No aircons and only two fans we were instructed to keep windows and doors closed as baboons will get in and ruin the house so it was super hot and unpleasant. Lights in dining area dont work garden is over grown and un kept. We left a day earlier due to all of the above. Access to the property is quote complicated. 100% would request a refund

This is such an amazing place! The views are out of this world and ever changing which kept us mesmerised for hours. We loved watching all the wildlife from the window and also from the deck. Well a little bit dated which we actually loved everything was there for our comfort the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The peace and quiet was just wonderful, which was much welcomed after a very hectic busy working few months beforehand. We walked along every morning to swim in a little cove well when the wind would allow us! We found this property a great place to explore all the Peninsula.

There was a little bit of a smell one or two days while we were there, which we now think was the wind causing drains to smell. We did notice this only when the wind was very very strong.

Beautiful view and quiet. Enough supply and water prepared.

Some areas not well maintained , bathroom leaking water on second day .The leak was from under the cupboard. Reception not that good due to the area location, but no a big deal to me. Communicating to staff was confusing. It was not clear who you are currently engaging to on WhatsApp . Staff share same WhatsApp number calling one may end you with other at which you have to repeat a;ready reported query’. The staff is friendly and patient but this could be improved or communicated how to report. I tried calling same number someone else replied and said she does not know what am talking about.This was after I got a message from same WhatsApp number and replied . Seeing it went quiet .I then decided to phone. After booking I got message with link requiring Forms with ID . I stopped at garage (having done 1500 km from Gauteng )to fill forms that are not validating properly,. adding to my frustrations was multiple messages asking me to fill and submit ID before . (software could be improved). It became clear why this was required .. (I may have missed this requirement as it was an urgent booking.com booking and was doing long travel).While this was resolved, it did not feel right as there were many request as I was driving to please fill the form and send proof of ID before occupancy .

The location is 10/10 The best feature of the property is the glass windows overlooking the Ocean and the natural beauty of the garden coming onto the property Beds were comfortable but just ok

The condition of the property is too dated for the price The worst thing is the SMELL of the wood that seeps inside of the entire property. At first, we thought the house needed airing, but for our 8 days stay, it continued to smell old & gross.The carpets could be contributory to it as well. The vacuum machine fell apart, and the kitchen cupboards were dirty on the inside (where pots were). The pots were dusty & extremely old . Chair in lounge broken. Carpet dirty

Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful and secure. Incredible views of the bay, house was clean and felt like home from home, and a short walk from Fishermans Beach which we loved.

We had a lovely stay at Timbers house. Everything was clean and the view is outstanding. Check-in instructions were clear. The property is idyllic!

There are a few issues that has to be addressed. There was no bulb in the outside light by the patio. We had to use torches when we had a braai. We asked help with unlocking the outside bid for the garbage but they didn't come back to us. We had to keep the garbage in the kitchen. The front door's lock didn't unlock from the outside
