Chop Old House Hotel

Room is sweet and cute. Parking very easy. Check in at night was also easy. Downstairs restaurant was delicious and we finally got to try some Croatian ribs, which hit the mark.

I struggle with hot water but possibly user error.

Great place to stay for an early morning flight.

Highly recommend! When I am travelling, I like to stay close to an airport if I have an early flight the next day. Nine times out of ten, an airport hotel is abysmal. What a wonderful surprise to stumble upon Chop Old House! The inn is charming, well-kept and very clean. We were warmly greeted and showed to our rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. In two weeks, it was the first time we slept on high quality linens so that was a treat! The bathrooms were spacious and spotless. There is a lovely restaurant that serves as the lobby. They had a table available and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. What a great find! Well done.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Wonderful restaurant downstairs. Recently remodeled with IKEA furnishings. Immaculately clean.

Finding entrance at night was confusing. We ended up dragging our luggage through the beautiful restaurant. Note: There is a better entrance in back. Turn left into the first alley past the restaurant.

Perfect stay

Location is excellent, the room is spacious and clean. Plenty of parking on site, comfortable bed, extremely clean bathroom. Room was perfect for one night stay.

There was no breakfast even though I paid for it in the price when booking, the information said breakfast included. When I arrived staff informed me that the restaurant and all staff are off on Sundays and the restaurant is closed. This came as a shock because there was noone around and the back door was open/unlocked for free entry/exit. A bit concerning - not sure how to feel about it. Staff allegedly told "booking.com" about this breakfast issue. It would be nice to know in advance since I arrived late and everything was closed. The bathroom had only one little bottle of shampoo. There was no coffee or tea bags in the room. I asked for one when I arrived and the restaurant staff gave me a tea bag and a mug.
