PLA very nice host, a great cook and very helpful. He introduced a cozy, homely atmosphere. Sleeping in a tree was exciting and gave incredible impressions. Only a thin mosquito net separated us from the jungle. If you are planning to be in the area, we definitely recommend staying there for a night to experience something exciting. And if you are a good person - you can be sure that the host's dogs will make your time more pleasant, and their guarding in the house will make you feel safe.
If you expect luxury - this is not the offer for you and you may be disappointed. We were delighted with the opportunity to spend the night in a completely different way than usually in a hotel.
ITThe Republic of Corn is a true experience in the nature. The treehouse is wonderful, when sleeping you can hear all the jungle’s noises. Victor is an amazing cook! He prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. We loved hearing about Victor’s project.
ITThe tree house is absolutely stunning and you get a great private view of the jungle. We saw lots of different birds, and heard many different calls (from frogs and different insects). Victor and Lexie were very welcoming and accommodating, making sure we were happy and settled in the tree house. Victor made dinner and breakfast for us which were both delicious and fresh. At the Republic of Corn you get a full emersion in nature and a more natural way of living, it was exactly what we were looking for and we are so happy we found this place. The project is very interesting and 100% worth experiencing! Getting there was also really easy, we had a rented car and followed Google maps. We hope to go back one day and highly recommend it to anyone looking for nature, a fun experience and lots of fresh fruit!
