Nice place to stay, decent room size and lovely balcony by the water

It’s a room with AC and has a good view on the porch.

I paid for a AC room and got brought to a room with a fan and when I said something they asked for more money to get the room with AC. Then when k get into the room after paying extra I find that they haven’t cleaned the room because there is stuff left on the toilet and overall room was not very well kept. Sink flooded immediately and also leaked down below onto the floor. On top of that, many many bugs. Maybe 30-40 cricket type bugs on the walls and woke up to a spider on my bed with me.

As basic as it gets — just a bed, a fan, an outlet, and a bathroom with a shower hose. But in the context of Don Det, that’s more than enough. It’s very close to the pier and the main restaurants and bars. Wi-Fi is decent, and the hosts are friendly. Simple and relaxing.

Great location, the view wasn’t at our bungalow but you can still go in the garden to have it. They have a mosquitoes cover so that’s nice. The showers are a bit weird and the toilets have no working water but as a lot of toilet in south east Asia. So good overall :)
