UH Suite The Gangnam

Excellent location just behind exit 4 of the Gangnam Shinbundang line. Don't need to wander far off for food, especially late night joints. Unit was clean, spacious, beds and pillows very comfy. Fully equipped kitchen in our unit, so we cooked meals, made tea (they've got very nice tea and a selection of flavors/aromas that you can get from the reception). It's a tight alley, so if you're Uber-ing or taking a cab, best to get on or hop off quickly so that traffic flow is not held up. Plus point: elevators, not stairs.

Location is good and close to metro, but it has gone downhill since we stayed last year. The property is clean and one of the only properties that is fairly central in Seoul to accommodate large groups.

The largest suite in the property only has one shower and two toilets (for 5-6 people) so it's not ideal. The large hot tub is more of a gimmick and form over function, as it takes forever to fill, and they insist on using their own bath bombs, which you have to purchase at a premium from them. You can no longer do your own laundry. They provide a discretionary service, which is one bag of laundry daily done at a super high-temperature wash and tumble dry cycle. The results is colour mixing and shrinkage, plus we lost a couple of items.

レセプションに飾られていた絵が、原爆を想像させるものであったこと。 広いバスタブは、お湯が溜まるまでに時間がかかりすぎる。
