Paddler's Rest Lakeside Cabins and Motel

Owner was friendly and helpful. Place was immaculate with wonderful lake views. Taylor was able to move us from the hotel room that I booked to a Pet Friendly Efficiency Room.

There were only certain rooms which were pet friendly. And when I booked with booking.com that was not made apparent. We were lucky there was no one in the pet friendly efficiency. As we were not allowed in the hotel rooms.

Great mattresses, lots to do on-site, water activities available. Good food nearby, very friendly staff.

The water wouldn’t drain out of the shower or the bathroom sink.

Location is good, just next to Long lake. Also offering free kayaking.

When we arrived at the hotel, they told me that they were over-booked and ‘upgraded’ us to Efficiency. However, we have 3 people and we booked a room with TWO double bed. And the room they offered only had one bed. They provided a folding bed but it was so hard and I could barely sleep. The heat was not working either. Horrible experience. At least they can inform us ahead so we can think of alternative options. Please read the reservation carefully and never offer a single bed room to a customer who booked for two beds room!

Located close to places to eat and do outdoor activities.

The location is beautiful, the staff were friendly and super helpful. The beach was very cool and we were able to take a canoe out for an hour and a half. What a beautiful lake.

We should have stayed longer than ONE DAY! (but that was our fault)
