Pap's Lab Apartments

Paps lab is a fully renovated modern appartment, from here you can walk easily to the city centre (10-15 minutes) and there are some good restaurants nearby. Stavros and his father welcomed us in the appartment and introduced us to the (shared) rooftop terrace. The appartment features 2 AC's and a modern bathroom with a deluxe shower. All in all this was a great place to end our trip in Crete and highly recommend it here.

The appartment is located in one of the less luxurious neighbourhoods. Despite this we have not felt unsafe at any point in time but might be worth noting.

Great host, we were able to check-in earlier as our flight was in the morning. Nice pdf guide with all neceassary details and Stavros was very quick in answering any additional questions we had. Close to natural history museum (highly recommended for kids) + small beach were the locals hang out.

The host was so friendly and helpful! Very nice people! We got all the help, when we needed it. The apartment has everything you might need: it's newly renovated, clean, beds are comfortable. The location is good considering its distance from the city center (10-15 min. walk).

Wonderful hosts

Excellent host, incredible value for money. Next time we visit Heraklion, we will gladly choose Pap's Lab again. Really clean, modern apartment, spacious. Also, the neighbourhood was quiet, safe and calm.

Everything was great. Away from the main streets, but close to local transport. Easy walk to central town, about 15 min, plenty of local buses to town, port and tourist areas. Well appointed apartment. Everything new and well planned and equipped for any length of stay. Host and family extremely helpful, kind and understanding. Great shower and clean bathroom with fluffy towels. Well equipped modern kitchen, A/C in both living room and bedroom. Comfortable bed with crisp clean linen. Two TV’s ( living area and bedroom ) Pleasant communal outdoor area on building terrace. Great for morning coffee or a beverage in the evening. Washing machine and dryer available for tenants in laundry next to terrace. One the best places we have stayed in, I could keep listing more superlatives. Rest assured, your stay will be well worth it. The host could not have been more helpful, and were pleased we stayed at Pap’s Lab.

Nothing

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we wanted to visit in Heraklion could be reached within a 15 minute walk. Everything was super clean.

Mattress was quite hard.

Wonderful small property, recently renovated (rebuilt), I had the apartment at the first floor. Even better than the listed pictures. Plenty of space, fully equipped, modern appliances and decoration. Family owned and operated. Very close to the city center, the museums, and the city seafront. Plenty of restaurants at walking distance. This part of the city is old and under developed but it has its own charm.

Nothing I did not like.

Pap's Lab apartment is a great option. Stavros was super responsive and helpful. The apartment is brand new, everything is spotless, and it is a 5 min walk to the nearest bars and restaurants, 8 mins to the centre. Brand new laundry facilities, and a roof top area to sit and read... Super convenient and comfortable and would definitely stay there again in Heraklion.
