"It was OK overall but we are not fussy people - the lack of water periodically is a real issue"

Staff and location were fine - swimming pool was lovely - breakfast was very well prepared

Water not working for most of the stay / wifi not working / lack of admin on payment I estimated what was owed and handed over cash hoping it would be passed on to the owner which I trust it was- I was never asked to pay or given a bill.

"Shabby chic, nice staff , close to beach."

Proximity to beach. Short cut across railway line. Quick walk along railway line to dinner. Pool. Breakfast on your balcony . Lots of toiletries. Helpful staff . Allowed us to use the room until 3 pm as not booked . Good air con

No sunbeds. The dogs trying to get in room constantly and under breakfast table. No coffee at breakfast . Shower no water pressure on last day so wouldn’t work. No fridge , kettle or hairdryer

"Beautiful property with great location"

The property is beautiful and the location is very close to the beach and restaurants. Sanju (owner) and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us with all our needs. Sanju even provides special discounts for water activities. The room was huge and very comfortable with hot water throughout the day. The property is well maintained except the pool could have been cleaner.

No complaints.. everything was good!

"Superb"

Great quiet location with great pool. You can get through to the beach using the back gate to the property walking across the railway tracks and through a posh hotel. Parking was easy at the property too.

"Perfect place in Bentota next to ocean"

The hotel is really close to the ocean and like a bonus we had sunbeds at the ocean site without any additional cost. The owner is really nice and helpful. They offered us lot of nice excursions with good price. We did a river safari in Bentota river and afterwards went to the turtle farm to release little baby turtle to the ocean. It was an amazing experience. Breakfast are fresh and tasty. And the room has very nice balcony from wich can eat breakfast and have a view to the garden. There is also clean and nice swimming pool. Great stay and value for the money. We would like to come one more time to this place.
