GO2 Village Homestay

This location is very good and perfect for adventure enthusiasts.

I went there with family and people who are city inclined. This is pure village. I liked the basic facilities. Somone who is not used to village settings might not like it at all.

Had a wonderful stay. The place is operated by a family who owns the 7 acres of farm land in which this house is in. The house is not fancy or anything but pretty decent for the location. You would good farm feel. Just have to be careful that you are taking a bigger one at the behind instead of front 3 smaller ones. And ask specifically if you are getting the AC one. These room types are not clearly mentioned in the listing atleast when I visited. However the host is awesone and also becomes your local tour guide. He helped us visit places around aprart from main falls, took to near by forest palces as well. The food is made by them. Though they are speciality in non-veg, where as we were pure vegeterians. Still they accomodated us and tried to do best with us almost asking every day our choice of meal to make. The booking operators Tina and Binsy are also very helpful. We had a small crisis situation on first day with respect to some unexpected visitors over there and they handled the situation from remote very well and got it cleared in 30 mins. However you get only BSNL signal over there at stay location (In actual Hogenakkal you have everything). Would heavily recommend to take BSNL sim if you want to stay connected to the world. Also the host over there talks only in Tamil with some very basic understanding of other south India lanugages. So you may have to take note of it. Though you can always call either Tina or Binsy to get translated OR use Google translate to manage stuff. Hence having BSNL connection is important to be able to even make phone call. Overall we had memorable 3 night stay. Go with low expectatios and its very casual looking room. Enjoy the nature!

Room basic amenities could be much better like having Mirror etc.
