LA TERRAZZA SUL MARE

Great View from balcony. Close to bus station. Clean. Host very nice left us champagne, Pepsi and juice in fridge and beach towels. There's a little ponton down the stairs from the building that you can access and have a tranquility time, careful it's rocky if you want to bath in the sea.

No wifi. Service was also slow. The main door lock has a little issue while unlocking and opening, the shower position wouldn't stay fix in a position and you'd have to hold it.

The view and the location is just perfect. Walking distance from Amalfi, just by the shore with the balcony facing the open sea. The apartment is decently large, and the kitchen has most things you might need. Very good location, the bus station is literally across the street, both to Ravello and Sorento, while just 10 minutes to walk to the center of Amalfi. Perfect to explore the coast. Communication with the host was very good and easy.

The facilities are really old and the place in general needs a renovation.

Despite the limited English usage Max really did all his best to accomodate us And I dont think you can get any closer to the best view of the water and Amalfi compared to this house

The location is very good if you are flexible enough to take a 5 minute walk to e.g. Atrani and another 10 minutes walk and you are then in Amalfi. The view from the apartment is breathtaking, you can hardly find a better ocean view. The apartment itself is not of highest standard, but functional. As long as you don't expect anything else, then you will have a very good stay, we had a really good stay for a week in September. You can reach the cliffs and water (exit left coming down with the elevator). Then a number of stairs down to the cliffs, there are ladders getting into (and up) the water. (People have complained about the water in the bathroom. Just be aware that the scale of temprature is reversed. Hence turn to hotter to get it cooler). Quick note: If you don't fancy using stairs, then you are not a good candidate for the amalfi coast 😉.

The standard is okay, but could be better.

We liked everything

We loved staying at LA TERRAZZA SUL MARE, it was one of the highlights of our trip! The host was so responsive and helpful. Her brother met us to let us into the place and show us around and he was so sweet! The place exceeded our expectations. The balcony was private and the view from it was absolutely amazing! The place itself was clean and very spacious. It's also a quick walk to the beach and several amazing restaurants. We loved the location, it was the perfect place and we will definitely be returning!
