GBspacious. very clean and peacefull. good coms from host. Two excellent pubs within walking distance. private hot tub.secluded private garden. private entrance and ample parking. full kitchen although we didn't use it as only stayed one night as we were in the village for a function.
Not much really. hot tub instructions say there is a lever to help move the cover there isnt one so some people might stuggle. It' s open air so you are at the mercy of the elements which we were happy to brave the rain but some might prefer a covered hot tub. We assumed there was an open fire or log burner why else would there be a basket of logs in front of a brick firepfireplace in the booking.com listing? We were dissapointed to find no logs and a sign saying log burner must not be used , that it had been decomissioned and was decorative only. Flameless candles were nice touch and we thought they might make a cosy atmosphere but the batteries were flat.
GBLovely property, very clean and felt a very warm welcome on arrival. Facilities were perfect, sofa very comfortable and the bed also comfortable. In a very quiet location and was close to Arnold where we were celebrating our wedding so it was easy for us to get a taxi from the annex to town and back. Couldn’t fault it, just a shame it was cold and raining so we didn’t get to use the hot tub.
GBMe and my husband stayed in the Annexe for one day, we were very pleased and had a good time there and the hot tub was fabulous. Host Maria is a really nice and friendly person to deal with. We both really enjoyed the stay.
GBThe hot tub super clean
GBMy wife and I along with our 3 year old daughter were attending a festival in Nottingham for the weekend, the lodge gave us a perfect base. Far better than staying in a hotel, we were able to relax more after each day, make some food and unwind in the hot tub. The village looks really nice, didn't make it to the pub but looked good. Had our privacy through the whole stay and everything was clean and tidy for our arrival.

GBFabulous stay! The annex has beautiful decor, and the hosts have thought about absolutely everything you could possibly need. Hamper with a welcome card that explains the local area, hot tub functions and how to access the WiFi/TV. Tea bags and a Nespresso coffee machine with plenty of pods. Milk and butter in the fridge. Very clean and tidy with games and books to use. Hot tub and garden space was AMAZING. Very private. We walked to the Four Bells for some drinks and it had a lovely country village feel to it. Honestly can't fault this place, we will definitely be back!
