La Maison de Bitasta

The house is really beautiful, with its old charm, perfectly located in the White Town, everything is reachable in walking distance, location is really perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable, the best way to discover Pondicherry, can’t wait to come back.

One of the Best places in The heritage town of Pondicherry, we felt home with the staff and Madame Bitasta she is very welcoming and made our stay Lovely , Priya and all the staff were nice and helpful. Clean , well decorated and the location is 5 stars. We had a late check out and we left our luggage there and spent time in the common area with a nice cup of tea offered by Madame Bitasta and her daughter.

Very sad that we spent only one night , but for sure we will come back soon again and again

Excellent 5 nights stay at Maison de Bitasta. The house is beautiful, rooms are organized around a patio with trees and is nicely decorated with pieces of art and old furnitures. Authenticity and charm. We had the large room at the 2nd floor which was perfect. We had a direct access to the terrace where the breakfast was served in the morning. Notice that this is an Indian breakfast. The location is really great, very close from the sea, restaurants and shops. And very calm. Thank you to all the team !

The management has chosen not to refund an excess amount paid at the time of booking. Multiple messages were sent, but no response. The Room was musty... Take your towels and toiletries. The towels are like sandpaper The shower drain was clogged and not cleared for three days

Beautiful architecture of a French colonial mansion. Perfect location in White Town.

Would have preferred a different, more streamlined payment process, with either having the option to pay online through booking. com, or direct with the property on arrival. Paying via bank transfer felt a little unsafe.
