That Cape Town House

Felt homely. Beautifully furnished. Would stay again if the drain issues were sorted.

So I’m told from the property manager the previous people had washed their wetsuits in the shower that had blocked the drains. We had two interrupted days and getting someone (her husband) out twice to plumb the drain in the shower. The water actually went through the floorboards in the bathroom and dripped into the lounge. We could see that this had clearly happened before, as there was new paint in parts and cracks in the lounge ceiling where the shower was above. We have asked for a refund for the first two nights.

Nice house with everything you need. We had a totally comfortabel stay. It was all very clean. The bed is really very good! Location was good, in a quiet residential area, close to shops and main access roads. Ideal base to visit Cape Peninsula. Communication went very smooth. We had a great time and could certainly recommend staying here.

The alarm had some difficulties with the load shedding. But it was not a big issue.

The location is good.

A bit far from most of the activities.

This is a beautiful private, quiet, beautifully furnished and spacious home. It is conveniently located to good restaurants and hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
