Balkon über dem restaurant - war nicht mein fav, aber auch ok :)

Fabulous location, spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, clothes line & iron. Lots of closet and drawer space, bright but you could close interior shutters for darkness.

Wi-Fi was slow and would cut out, stairs are very very steep

Great location, very close to the beach and many restaurants. Spacious and tidy apartment setup with everything we needed. Good bathroom facilities with great hot water pressure. Good communication with host.

Apartment would not be suitable for people who can not navigate steep stairs. Also it is above a restaurant that was very noisy at night with staff ckeaning plates and doing dishes. Restaurant didn't close until after midnight with staff working until 1am. It may not have been such as issue if not using the sofa bed in the lounge, but it was very noisy.

Location and space. Everything was easy to use and find. The location was the best.

Perfect location in Cefalù. The apartment is just walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants. We had a wonderful time at Casa al Vecchio. Giuseppe was a great host. He was very responsive and providing great information to us.

This apartment is in a great location in the Old Town of Cefalu.

We should have known, but didn't fully realize that it would not be possible to get a taxi from the train station to the apartment because of pedestrian zone restrictions, but we managed a 15–20 minute downhill walk from the train station with our luggage. The trip back to the train station a little more difficult uphill, but manageable, as long as you are prepared for this situation and not in a hurry! And while we knew the apartment was accessible only via stairs, we were a bit surprised by the narrow, steep staircase to the flat. Giuseppe, who very patiently waited for us to arrive, kindly carried our bags up the stairs, and arranged for his Dad to meet us upon check out to carry them down. We're older travelers, and I really don't think we could have gotten our bags down the staircase safely without help.
