Good air conditioning.The apartment felt spacious and airy despite the lack of windows. Great location, once we were able to find it.

The property is impossible to find via the address provided. Google maps brings to a different street, around the corner from the apartment. The location on the map via the booking.com also completely different and brought us about 7 minutes walk away from the apartment. Unable to contact the host via phone for guidance on how to find apartment. It took us 90 minutes to find at 12am at night. Perhaps this would have been easier if we arrived during the day and the door was easier to spot. Hopefully the host has fixed this and provided an accurate Google maps link / address. Bed and pillows are hard, but to be expected given the price. There is enough hot water for one, quick shower at a time. The shower is tiny but manageable.

Superb location in the heart of Ortigia but down a small alley so there’s no road noise. Very private and quiet. Extremely clean. Kitchen has everything we needed to cook light meals and eggs for breakfast. Ample towels, soap and shampoo provided. Comfortable small couch in the living room and dining table. The shower stall is a bit small, but water pressure was good. The owner left us enough coffee pods for each day of our stay and also some breads and jams, which was very nice. We are a couple traveling together so we only stayed in one room but there was a second room with a twin bed. Both rooms don’t have windows to the outside, but we like that because it allows us to sleep in. Bed was comfortable and some of the pillows were too fluffy, but we found extra pillows in the closet that were a bit smaller and worked well for us. There is only one AC for the apartment and it’s in the living room next to the front door. Again, we traveled alone so it wasn’t a problem as we just left the bedroom door open. If you’re traveling with another person, keep in mind that you might have to keep doors open if you need the place very cool in the heat of the summer. The home is made of stone, so it keeps cool very well. When we travel we don’t spend much time in the apartment as we like to explore, but we really enjoyed our stay here. The location could not be more perfect. We parked just outside of the two main bridges and it’s about a 5 minute walk to the apartment from there on level streets.
