Hotel De Lange Akker

Wij verbleven twee nachten bij dit kleinschalige hotel. We hadden een mooie grote familiekamer, met 3 bedden en een stapelbed. Bedden lagen heerlijk. Badkamer was nieuw met een grote inloopdouche en grote rain shower. Ontbijt was heel goed, en heel divers. We werden ook erg gastvrij ontvangen door een enthousiaste lieve dame. We hebben genoten van deze dagen in Zuid-Limburg, ook van het mooie weer en prachtige omgeving er is zoveel te doen. Graag tot een volgende keer.

Het stapelbed kraakte een beetje.

Super little hotel about 10 minutes from Maastricht. The welcome was great and the breakfast is fantastic value for money.

Everything was perfect

I recently stayed at Hotel De Lange Akker in Berg en Terblijt, a small village conveniently located near Maastricht and Valkenburg. It’s one of the very limited accommodation options in the area, which makes it a practical choice if you specifically want to stay in this quiet town. The neighborhood is definitely a highlight — scenic, and perfect if you’re looking to unwind away from busy city life. The surroundings feel calm and welcoming, and it’s a great base for exploring the nearby region. Breakfast was fair: nothing particularly memorable, but adequate to start the day.

Only a few downsides. The rooms were quite cold upon arrival, and the air conditioning unit didn’t help much — it either made the room too hot or uncomfortably dry. Basic amenities were also lacking: there was no shampoo or hair dryer in the room, and you have to go to shared facilities if you need those.
