Mulu D cave homestay

Wir waren 5 Nächte hier und würden es immer wieder tun. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und es gibt kostenloses Trinkwasser und Frühstück ist auch inkludiert (2 Pfannkuchen). Entweder es gibt Buffet zu Lunch/Dinner oder kocht sie bei Bedarf ein einzelnes Gericht (15RM für ein Gericht / 25RM für Buffet). Die Zimmer waren sauber und es gab Handtücher. Wir wurden wieder kommen :) Die Lage ist außerdem praktisch genau zwischen dem Flughafen und Nationalparkeingang gelegen

There is a hot shower and air conditioning. The park is a 5 minute walk from the entrance to Mulu Park. Dina and her husband do everything they can to make guests comfortable and give us a real insight into the local culture and were also able to help with park activities. Dina is happy to organize activities for guests outside the park in local places. I can only recommend them!

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Erwartet aber keinen Luxus, es ist eine Privatunterkunft inmitten der Natur. Zum Park sind es nur 10 Minutenzu Fuß. Danke Dina & Robert für die schöne Zeit und dem Bootsausflug.

Had a great night rest at DCave Homestay after visiting the Pinnacles! The family room was comfortable with AC and hot shower facilities Most importantly, thank you Dina for the wonderful hospitality 🥰 Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for homestay experience in Mulu!

This review has some extra info about the homestay and describes why you should choose this homestay for your stay in Mulu: - Overall: We had an incredible time at this homestay. This was the best homestay I’ve ever stayed at. We made so many memories there that we can’t even count them. We loved everything and can recommend anyone to stay at this homestay. - The hosts: The house belongs to Robert and Dina. Dina is the soul of the house. She is a lovely host that is always happy and smiling. She helps you with literally everything and you can always go to her and ask her anything. Dina is also a really good cook and provides good local and healthy food. Robert used to be a senior guide at the National Park and knows everything about it. You can ask him anything if you want to know something about the park and the tours. - The house, the rooms and booking: It is a homestay, so don’t expect any luxury place of course. But the rooms are nice and clean. They were renovated and look way more modern than on the pictures you can see at the moment. Our room was clean and the shower is big and has hot water. All rooms have an own bathroom (also the family room). - Booking (IMPORTANT!!!): It is important to know that there is a problem with the booking system at the moment and only one room is shown for booking (the family room). But there are 3 rooms available: double/twin room (2 people), family room (up to 4 people), dorm room (4 beds). If there is still only the family room or no room available at the time of your booking, you should write a message to Dina and ask her directly about the availabilities, maybe there are still beds available even though it’s not shown on Booking. - Food: Breakfast (delicious pancakes with bananas) is included and lunch and dinner are optional (25 RM each for one time). You don’t have to go anywhere else to eat as the food is super good as already mentioned. Water, tea, coffee is always provided and for free.

I really liked staying with Dina and Robert. They are really kind people. The rooms were great and clean and the food was always really delicious. The location is perfect since it’s only a few minutes walking from the park and the airport.
