West Loch Farm Bothy

Accessibility was good. It was secluded, quiet, private and located well for Glentress and cycling.

No WiFi, no streaming, craftsmanship of the interior was poor, washing machine flooded the sink, flooring was warped, a desolate house is right next to the bothy and an unsafe collapsed roof area..small efforts could make this place amazing. Courtesy toiletries were a half filled bottle of body wash, shampoo and body lotion.

Großartige Location, die Farm ist sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll saniert und umgebaut worden. Technisch alles auf hohem Niveau und sehr modern. Tolle Aufteilung für 3-4 Personen. Die Lage ist auch toll - mitten im Grünen auf dem Land. Man ist absolut für sich. Besonders toll war der Hot Tub. Nachts im heißen Whirlpool in die Sterne schauen ist schon was besonderes.

Eigentlich war alles top. Die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas größer sein - große Töpfe etc.

This cottage has a lot of potential, bad sadly it is let down by bad wear and tear. The flooring seems to have warped throughout, which seems to be from water damage. The basin in the bathroom was not draining properly and as a result, we couldn’t brush our teeth properly. The toilet for some reason didn’t flush properly most of the time. On top of this, it was a little dirty. Dead bugs and a slight layer of dust was over things. The outside could also do with a little landscaping. This cottage has potential, but just needs some TLC.

Amazing, cozy stay, communication with the staff was spot on, very helpful and went the extra mile to satisfy all our needs and extra. Very clean, great quality design and lovely pieces of furniture, beauty products from a well known brand instead of the ordinary (Rituals) soap and shampoo made the miss super happy. would definitely recommend, good wifi, amazing views and perfect jacuzzi water. if i could give them 100 stars i would. First real 5* stay intimate stay in Uk

Location was superb,. accommodation was well laid out, very clean and great for meeting up with friends.

There were a few minor issues but on speaking to the owners most of them were resolved which is testament to the owners wanting to give best possible experience.

Excellent location. Beautifully quiet; enjoyed lots of birdsong from the surrounding trees. A pied wagtail entertained us in the evenings catching insects over the patio. Liked the lights lining the drive after sunset.

We liked the quiet location and having 2 bedrooms. Clean bedding and plenty towels. The hot tub water was clean. Adequate for a one night stay when we needed to be in the area.

Renovation clearly rushed and poor quality workmanship throughout. Appears unfinished and not at all well equipped. There was a strong smell of drains. Toilet didn't flush properly. Bathroom sink didn't drain. Shower too hot to get under and couldn't be altered so couldn't be used. Outside not landscaped; still looks like a building site. It would have been unacceptable to us for a longer stay.
