Location

The only good thing we experienced was the location of this hostel - although was very loud in the evening/ night until after midnight. The room was clean at first appearance but looking more closely the wall and curtains were incredibly mouldy. After sleeping 1 night there we noticed the mould smell was worse in the bed - found mould on our pillows. There is no AC in the room. There was one very small cheap fan over one bed which we were delighted to see in the heat but it did not work. Overheated. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. A clump of hair in the drain which was there for 2 days! There was toilet paper for a minute and then never replenished. The toilet seat is broken in the women's bathroom and we almost fell off it multiple times. There was an empty soap container. The service was questionable. We checked in and were given a key to the room. We left and came back to find ourselves locked out because we were never given a key card for the main door. Luckily it wasn't late!! The staff were also sleeping at reception which was a bit odd.

the room of dormitory is spaces than other hstl ..they used to clean floor and other stuff time to time location is most favourable at centre point from back way u can easily access the view of fewa lake the roof top is amazing there is snooker to play and bar 🍺🍺 and music light are vintage .. overall good as per price and other too

Really great staff and cool upper open air hangout area with vibey background music and billiards. Good fresh fruit smoothie bowls and crisp green salad. They have a juicer that keeps the wholesome fiber in the fruit. Great value!

The outlet for the bed I choose was a bit loose so I had to use a different outlet to charge my phone. Really no big deal, as there are many outlets installed. The interior design is well thought out.

I came to Hostel Nepal because of recommendations and I wasn’t disappointed. The people working there were absolutely amazing and quickly became my little family. The hostel itself is in a great quiet location, close to everything on the lakeside. The chill area is one of the best I’ve seen, so nicely done and I’ve honestly never had such a comfortable bed during my months of travel. I truly cannot recommend this hostel enough! Love you all at Hostel Nepal and I can’t wait to be back :)
