SGThe check-in staff are very freindly and kind. Room is nothing to talk about. Its like lodge which was fine and I expected. Worst was smoking smell all through the night. It was terrible. So if you just need a night sleep, this room is okay, but if you are allergic to smoke, this is not for you.

MYMYThe room was roomy and we wanted a place to crash after being stuck in a long traffic jam. The room is situated at the corner and there was only one room there so it is quiet and a little bit creepy lol. We did sleep very well despite the mattress and pillow. The room is decorated with retro furnishing, which means that most of them are broken. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They are lovely people and I hope they get paid nicely. To summarize, we like the staff. The hotel? Not so much. Location-wise, it was strategic, with ample parking available. Wifi was also decent.
Where do I even begin? It IS an ancient, very abandoned-looking hotel. We arrived at night so we didn't realize that the hotel looked abandoned, like a typical haunted hotel in movies. The staff kept the floors cleaned and mopped but when the floor was carpeted since the 1980s, the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. It leaves a lasting impression to me that if I think of this hotel, I can still smell the cigarettes as if the smell is etched forever in my brain. The room is roomy, furniture is arranged weirdly so one bed gets access to the a/c (which was honestly a plus during the heatwave... a decent Daikin a/c), and a wall blocks another one. The toilet didn't have a proper bidet, so we were given a pail to wash up. The flush didn't work. The shower was surprisingly good considering the ancient building. Everything in the room needs replacement, especially the carpeting and the broken wardrobe. The iron is located outside of the room where the overwhelming smell of cigarettes has hindered us from ironing our clothes and we would rather wear wrinkled clothes during our stay than look good and smell like we smoke 8 packs a day.

The room given was full of cigar smoking smell. Took long time to get rid of smell but it doesn't completely go .
SGI like the staff...Nurul if not mistaken. Very friendly. Room was spacious.
The bathroom has no bidet. And the flush didn't work. It's troublesome as i have small children travelling with me. No water heater.
