"Let the world fall away and relax deeply at Lissadell by the Sea."

9.0

My favorite thing about Lisaadell on the Sea is the location. You literally walk outside and are in the beach, where you can walk for ages. It’s also close to Sligo town (about 15 minutes) but far enough away to feel like you are a world away. You also have access to walk the Lissadel Estate, which is big and full of beautiful gardens.

The only major downside were the steps. I was traveling with my mum who’s almost 81 and the stairs to go upstairs are quite steep. The stairs down to the door entrance are also quite tall, so something to keep in mind! Would have also appreciated a little more clarity in their very helpful welcome book on how to use appliances and how to handle trash and recycling.
