Fabulous apartment.

Lovely welcome from the owner. She arranged a whale boat trip for us within minutes of our arrival. The trip was brilliant and a good price. She is so kind and helpful, changing money for us and full of advice. The room is spacious and clean with great aircon and nice bathroom. The restaurant below does really great food and the whole place has a lovey family feel. Very welcoming. The beach and other restaurants and bars are all just a short walk. We enjoyed our stay here very much and recommend it highly. Thank you to Nona and the rest of the family. Roger and Di. X

We stayed in Magee apartment for three nights. The apartment had just what we needed. The kitchen and dining area were out on the balcony - super cozy. The host was really nice, welcoming and very hospitable. She was also very proactive. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Sri Lanka one day. The family living next door, who are incredibly nice, offer Sri Lankan breakfast at a good price. You won't leave hungry and it is even served on the balcony. Don't hesitate to stay here.

I’m leaving the review on behalf of my parents, whom I helped with the booking 😀 “We stayed there with my wife from March 13 to 28, 2025. Even during the trip preparation phase, the host Prabodi contacted us and we set up a chat with her. Many issues were resolved. Prabodi responded promptly both before the trip and throughout our entire stay. The apartment’s location is very convenient. It’s close to the beach, literally a 5–6min leisurely walk. It’s about a 12–15min walk to the Gargills Food City supermarket. But most importantly, it’s a quiet place, where you don’t hear the road noise or evening entertainment from the beach. What we especially liked: • spacious and clean apartment with everything you might need; • the summer kitchen. A great opportunity to have breakfast and dinner to the sound of the ocean and birdsongs; • it was amusing to watch unusual visitors. We had herons, chipmunks, monkeys, peacocks drop by. There were many kinds of exotic birds — their singing was pure pleasure; • the kind and attentive host, Prabodi. She helped with everything. Arranged transfers from the airport and back. Most importantly, she made sure the car arrived on time. Upon departure, she brought us a bunch of bananas and a souvenir magnet for our daughter. A very sweet gesture on her part. I DEFINITELY recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort and seclusion.

I highly recommend staying in this apartment.It is like staying with family and in a really good location for the beach and town. Prabodee is the most beautiful person, as is her mother, and brother and sister in law who live next door. Her communication with you is incredible without being intrusive. They just want to help with everything for your stay including transport at the best price. It is clean and quiet and the outdoor kitchen has everything you could need. There is a gate now to keep the dogs out but they are lovely friendly dogs who greet you on the way in. Thank you for your warm hospitality and we won’t forget our special time in Mirissa.
