Location was terrific (though parking was limited). View from the balconies was certainly a plus. Building is quiet. Flat has so much POTENTIAL -- great size and bones. It's in dire need of updating -- furnishings, electrical, lighting, etc.

We really wanted to love this place as we were visiting my mother-in-law's hometown. Easy check-in and entry into flat, but frustration with the property started almost immediately. The single bed was more like a foldaway bed instead of a regular bed. You could feel every spring, so teenage was more comfortable on the sofa. There's no air conditioning which is fine, but she only left 2 fans. Furnishings are old with some in disrepair. Some outlets didn't work including one of the outlets next to the bed in the middle bedroom. Other outlets wouldn't even accept the modern plug (we had adapters for Italy). However, the biggest disappointment was that the washing machine wouldn't work, and the host was entirely unhelpful and defensive about it not working. We tried everything she said, and nothing was starting. It only started to work after we told her we were leaving for the evening and returned close to midnight. Didn't do anything different, just POOF-working! I had asked her earlier since the machine wasn't working if we could do late check-out so we had time for clothes to dry, and she didn't agree. I had to walk 15 minutes to a laundramat, taking up a whole morning. The rate was high given the above, issues. However, in that location with wonderful sea views and balconies, she could rent for even higher if she just invested in updating the place. There's an Ikea 10 minutes away!

The apartment had a warm and inviting vibe, with the living room being particularly nice. The sea view and spacious layout greatly enhanced the experience. The location was great, providing convenient access to the surrounding area. Communication with the host and the check-in was smooth. Although we encountered a minor issue with warm water, the host promptly arranged for it to be resolved, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay.

The bathroom could benefit from renovation.
