Casa Maty San Pancho

Casa Maty has beautiful flowers, a wonderful pool and comfortable beds.

The beds were comfy, and the place was spacious. Nice to have two bathrooms. The location was good-walking distance to town and the beach. While it was also tucked away in a quiet location. Nice appliances and island in kitchen- open floor plan. Easy work space if you like to cook. Outdoor table to eat at was great.

Very little sunlight in the pool area thus water was quite chilly. Kitchen is lightly stocked.

I don't know. We never got a chance to stay.

When we arrived, Maty showed us the house. It seemed fine. We were happy, but then we asked where the clothes washer and dryer were. We had specifically booked Casa Maty during the middle of our trip so that we would have a washer and dryer for our dirty laundry. The original house description on Booking.com listed a clothes washer and dryer in the list of amenities. Maty told us there is no washer and dryer. She then called her son, who didn't seem to understand what the meaning of "amenities" means. He then got very angry with us, told his mother that he was cancelling our reservation, then he contacted Booking.com and cancelled us. This left us without a place to stay, late in the day. Maty locked the door and wouldn't let us in. We told both Maty and her son that we didn't want to cancel. We still wanted to stay, but they wouldn't let us stay. We then had to call the Booking.com service center and spend a good part of the next day trying to get our money back. Needless to say, we are not impressed with the behaviour of the property owners. Very unprofessional.

Great pool. Clean house. Great host. Close to everything.

Casa Maty was wonderful! The house was bigger than it looked in the pictures online. The laundry and kitchen were fully equipped. The bedroom AC was fast and efficient. The surrounding gardens and pool and rooftop palapa were delightful. Maty and Domingo were so helpful and charming.
