Al Wahiba Sands Camp

Un luogo davvero unico! Campo molto isolato, ma sorprendentemente si riusciva a prendere la rete mobile di Omantel e Vodafone. Il campo è pulito, curato: ci è piaciuto tutto! Colazione e cena erano abbondanti e deliziose. Staff gentile, sempre disponibile. L’host è raggiungibile su WhatsApp. Un grazie di cuore ai proprietari per la calorosa ospitalità, la splendida serata attorno al fuoco e l’eccellente cena tradizionale. L’accoglienza più calorosa di tutti i nostri viaggi!!

Hassan and Ghaleb were very excellent hosts. Conversations with them was so much fun and natural. The food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing. Hassan is an amazing chef and Ghaleb's enthusiasm is contageous. They were both very cheerful hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable even in the middle of the desert. The location of the camp is serene. When the sun went down, we could see the milkyway and it was such a special space. I highly recommend this camp.

An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Omani desert! The location is exceptional, offering breathtaking landscapes and a stunning starry sky. The camp is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, with an authentic and peaceful atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ensuring we had a great stay. The food was delicious and authentically local. The activities, such as the camel ride and watching the sunset over the dunes, were truly magical moments. I highly recommend this place for a unique and immersive desert experience

We had a wonderful stay at the Wahiba Sands camp on New Year’s Eve. From the moment they picked us up in their 4x4 to the moment they dropped us off again, Ali, his cousin, and the staff made our stay truly special and memorable. The tent, the food, and the friendly chats by the bonfire - everything was simply perfect. We also thoroughly enjoyed our visit and lunch with the Bedouin family in Badiyah, as well as the dune bashing tour and camel ride. All in all, it was a truly great experience, and we would highly recommend booking with Ali.

The camp at night is so amazing, with sand and local environment something else. I love how they people received us, I want to say thanks to them. I want to highlight one point, the place at night and morning is wonderful like we live so far from cities with peace and luxury. This will not be the last time for me at Al Wahiba Camp. Finally, thanks to local people and to all Omani citizens.

Our stay was amazing, private little camp so, you can have your private time. Food was amazing, they arrange many activities in the dunes.For us the best one is stargazing. It was so nice and informative.

Upon arrival, Ali & staff were very accommodating and gave us a familiarization overview of the area and set expectations for our stay. Made ourselves comfortable and enjoyed an excellent dinner prepared by the staff. Had a great nights sleep and were greeted in the morning with an outstanding breakfast while enjoying the sunrise over the dunes. Thank you for everything!

Everything here was great. The tent was big and clean, the breakfast and dinner were various and delicious, and the staff were friendly as well. The most important reason why we love here is because of Ali , he was super friendly, kind, and funny! We stayed here in september and we have already missed the beautiful desert and lovely people.
