Priya Hotel, Sitapur

Location was nice, on the main kedarnath road. Rahul at the reception was forever busy on his mobile fone & disinterested. Arun was helpful & polite, helped us with local information & to keep our bags in hotel cloakroom on chargeable basis.

Room was in the basement of parking area. Room was not at all maintained. Walls were moist & there was moist smell too. The only window was facing the passage, where people would talk loudly in the middle of the night. It felt like a dharamshala setup, but they charged like a hotel. Overpriced just because of high season, but not st all worthwhile.

Booked for 2 days, 1 day given room in Priya, second day Room given in another cheep hotel, there was no towel, no hot water. Bad Experience.

They asked entire payment upfront with promise of parking but later denied on checkin date. I told that I had a word with staff but they sinply denied and didn't agree for refund also. 5k per night is worthless for this hotel considering smelly rooms, no proper room service. They closed kitchen at 9:30 PM for some special guest and we had to walk to other hotels for food. HOTEL IS BELOW AVERAGE AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEAK TIME

First of all, after reaching there, we came to know that the hotel will not provide us parking, whereas it is written on the application that parking is available. They have also put up a board there which says parking is available, but they did not provide us parking. The rooms whose pictures are on booking.com were not given to us. The hotel owner said that booking.com has put up the pictures of wrong rooms. We were given a very small room in which there was no space to keep luggage. There was only 1 bulb and a fan, for which we were charged Rs 5500. The restaurant was very expensive. The price of a full plate of vegetables was 250-300 rupees, but that vegetable was just one bowl in a full plate. If you are two people, then you will have to order 2 full plates. The food of the restaurant next to Hotel Priya is good and cheap, you can eat there. My experience of Hotel Priya was very bad, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was at good location if you are planning for the kedarnath Yatra. The food was delicious.
