"Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely townhouse"

Very clean, comfortable house with everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Quiet location which ensured good night's sleep. Spacious bathroom with powerful shower. Excellent location just off the town centre, close to shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and a lovely park with riverside walks. Great communications from host and very easy to access property which was available earlier than expected on arrival day. Parking available outside property which was perfect for unloading/loading.

Minor points - bed a bit squeaky/creaky and no wardrobe or rail in room to hang clothes.

Lovely area in easy reach of all the places we wished to visit. Newtown itself is a lovely little town with several walks and cycle paths which we enjoyed. The house was well equipped and bed comfy.

Fabulous location, well furnished with all the amenities you could need, hosts easily contactable and responsive, comfy beds and quiet location, just a short walk to the river for some lovely walks and if you have a dog there are dog friendly bars and the wagon and horse does a lovely roast dinner and is dog friendly, Thank you for sharing your home, don’t usually go back to places as we like to explore but feel Like we could do more exploring from here so hope to be back soon

Nothing, beware of the 3rd floor stairs in the dark though!

Perfect location for daughter seeing friends in Newtown , lovely space , son loves the shower , communication was fabulous

"A wonderful place to stay in Newtown, we will be back again!"

The owners are very friendly with good communication about the property, “checking in” is very easy using the key box locked with a code. Lots of space, nice bathroom, we slept very well, excellent and convenient location close to town, great to be able to to cook our own meals there and come and go as we please, brilliant for visiting relatives. We noticed the property had been a bit de-cluttered since we were last there which was nice too.

New Year Stay, Had a wonderful stay, we have stayed in many cottages, but never one so well equipped. It had everything. Kitchen equipment, general kitchen condiments, cleaning products everything was thought of. We brought items from home which we never unpacked. The communications from Penelope and James were excellent. A wonderful base to visit the beautiful country of Wales. Highly recommend.
