USThis place was clean and comfortable. I especially liked the entryway, which had room to store coats and shoes. The living room window had a lovely view of the mountains. We got lucky and saw the aurora out that window (in early April)! It was a short walk to all of Hofn and very quiet.
The bathroom fixtures were somewhat flimsy (buckled shower floor, unstable toilet seat), and the dishwasher was really slow - we shut it off after 4 hours so that we could go to sleep. The washing machine was also quite slow: around 3 hours for a cold load.
