The host was really unpleasant and unfriendly. The place was messy and did not look at all like the description. Of course, we didn't stay there. I honestly don't understand how this place received the rating it has. I also noticed I'm not the first one to mention these issues. Very disappointing experience.

We had a wonderful time in Cremia. Àngel is very hospitable and friendly, and shared great tips on what to visit and where to eat. The dogs Donna and Nebbia and the cat Tommy are incredibly sweet and love cuddles. The view from the little balcony is truly stunning! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Alles war ziemlich schmutzig. Im Garten lag Hundekot und im Haus waren viele Hundehaare. Insgesamt lag viel Müll rum und der Garten und das Haus wirkten sehr ungepflegt.

The bathroom is modern and clean.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Double Room with Private Bathroom. While the bathroom is modern several problems made the stay uncomfortable: Access & arrival: The walking path to the property is poorly maintained (uneven surface, weeds, and poor lighting), which made it hard to wheel our suitcases. Security: The interior door uses a very old-style key and we couldn’t lock the place, which didn’t feel secure. Common areas & odors: The stairwell is airless and damp with a persistent musty smell. There was also a very strong dog odor near the building entrance and around the balcony, so we couldn’t sit outside. Water fixtures: The hot/cold mixer seems faulty—“cold” water took a long time to come through and was only lukewarm. Space: The room is quite small; moving around with two suitcases was difficult. Crockery: Plates and cutlery are provided, but it’s unclear how/where guests are expected to wash them (no dishwashing liquid). Noise: Barking from neighboring dogs and loud noise from nearby children made sleeping difficult (this may not always be the case, but it affected our stay). Parking: Parking is advertised, but after following the video and parking near the market, a shop employee told us “no parking here.” Photos vs. reality: The photos show a fresh-looking interior, but the building is old and the common areas smell. We booked because of the discount and positive reviews, but our experience did not match the ratings. For the price, we expected better maintenance, clearer instructions, and basic comfort. We wouldn’t book again.

Tolles Zimmer mit traumhaftem Balkonblick! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, komfortabel und geräumig - inklusive eines wunderschönen Balkons mit Blick auf den Comer See. Das Badezimmer war sauber und großzügig, und die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Der Besitzer Angelo ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht: Staubsauger, Dunstabzugshaube, Kühlschrank, Besteck, Kaffeemaschine usw. Das Bad war ordentlich und ebenfalls voll ausgestattet. Lediglich eine Herdplatte fehlte, was uns aber von Anfang an klar war. Besonders gut fanden wir, dass im Kühlschrank Wasser und Obst für uns bereitstanden. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos dank Angelos genauer Anweisungen. Der Balkon ist ein absolutes Highlight - perfekt für ein gemütliches Frühstück mit Seeblick. Der Spaziergang zum See ist zudem einfach spektakular. Angelo hat eine Katze und einen Hund, daher riecht es im Eingangsbereich etwas nach Tierfutter. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört, da man im Zimmer (das sich in einem separaten Obergeschoss befindet) nichts davon bemerkt. Es hat für uns alles gepasst.

I have to agree with some of the reviews before me, the high rating really doesn’t reflect the actual quality of the accommodation. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The place wasn’t very clean, and there was an unpleasant smell both in the room and the hallway. The house and the area around it seemed messy and poorly maintained. Overall, the price and the 8.8 rating just didn’t match what was offered. It really felt more like a low-budget place than what we were expecting based on the listing.

The location is great—close to a small beach (just a few minutes by car) and situated in a charming, non-touristy village. There’s a nice local shop and a local café nearby, perfect for a morning coffee. Definitely recommended if you want to experience the local atmosphere. The shower was good, and the small terrace offered a lovely view. The host communicated well, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and there was a mini fridge available.

We stayed for three nights at the accommodation, but unfortunately, we felt the price didn’t match what was offered (rated as 8.8 on booking doesn't seem right) The overall impression was rather unprofessional: The door to our room couldn’t be locked, and the front door of the house was also always left open; only the small gate in the front yard had a lock. The entrance looked messy and unhygienic. There was an unpleasant smell in both the room and the shared hallway. We later discovered that a ventilation pipe ended in our room, which seemed to be the source of the smell. This gave us a very unhygienic impression. The curtains didn’t block out the light properly, which meant we woke up before 7 a.m. every day. Some furniture seemed unstable such as the small cabinet which almost fell apart when grabbing a plate from it. All in all, it didn’t meet our expectations keeping in mind the price versus rating on booking.

It had just been refurbished and was very clean with all the amenities. Nice balcony looking over the lake. The property was similar to a top floor maisonette in England.

Nice views. Off the tourist path with the small village.
