La Belle Guest House

La Belle was perfect for our stop over back to Gauteng. Beautiful guesthouse, friendly staff and well arranged. The rooms were amazing and had everything and more. The pool was great. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful accommodation! Perfect resting point when driving from Cape Town to KZN midlands! Close to restaurants! Has everything you need for a restful night's sleep! Love the decor finishes and the added bonus of a smart TV to sit and unwind after a long day of driving was welcomed!

I love the personalized warm welcome one receives from host; the clean and pristine rooms and surrounding. The fact that they allow pets is a cherry on top.

The family room was a little crowded, leaving not much space to move around. The coffee machine was not working 😕 but everything was perfect 👌

My stay at La Belle Guesthouse was simply enchanting. From the moment you pass through the striking black gates, there is an immediate sense of arrival — as though you’ve been transported to a gracious European countryside retreat rather than remaining in Bloemfontein. The elegant gabled house is utterly captivating — romantic, beautifully proportioned, and impeccably maintained. There’s a timeless quality to the architecture and gardens that makes the entire experience feel both serene and indulgent. It’s rare to find a place that feels so considered and so effortlessly beautiful. The rooms were immaculate and wonderfully comfortable, offering a perfect balance of refinement and ease. Every detail felt thoughtfully attended to, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and deeply welcoming. A particularly delightful touch were the guesthouse’s two lovely standard poodles, who graciously welcomed my rather elderly Pekingese and made him feel entirely at home. For anyone travelling with a beloved companion, that warmth makes all the difference. Everything about La Belle feels special — from the sense of privacy and calm to the understated elegance that runs throughout the property. If I had a house like that, I might very well choose to live in Bloemfontein myself. Quite simply, I couldn’t praise it more highly.
