Old Town Guest House

Wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome from the very first minute. They took us through a map of the local area and where to explore upon arrival (make sure you visit the local Sentosa house in the PM up the river which they recommended us to go see & was the best thing we did in Malacca). Rooms were clean, plenty of social space to relax in, there was a kitchen/small breakfast provided and location was great. Thank you for a great stay.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist zentrumsnah, die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich uns hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich mit einem tollen Blick nach draußen. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber ausreichend um in den Tag zu starten. Das selbstgebackene Bananenbrot war super lecker. Danke für das Proviantpäckchen, als wir gehen mussten Wir kommen gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch in Malakka.

O dono da propriedade é o que se pode chamar de ótimo hostess: nos recebe pessoalmente com toda a simpatia, dá dicas da cidade, oferece mapas e ajuda no que for necessário desde antes da chegada a Malaca. Um fofo! Além disso, me deixou fazer check-in antecipado! O quarto é simples, mas espaçoso, o ar condicionado funciona bem, o banheiro é grandão... E não menos importante: a hospedagem está bem próxima dos principais pontos turísticos de Malaca, dá pra fazer tudo a pé.

Para chegar, sobe-se uma escadinha discreta que pode passar despercebida. Há uma placa sobre a hospedagem, mas não se nota à primeira vista.

Affittacamere a conduzione familiare, gestito da una coppia molto simpatica e comunicativa. Il proprietario è sempre pronto a dare aiuto e consigli e si prende cura degli ospiti in ogni momento. Camere basiche ma con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Nella parte vecchia di questa stupenda città coloniale, tutto raggiungibile a piedi.

Un posto semplice ma con grande personalità che fa sì che l’atmosfera sia veramente accogliente, proprietari gentilissimi e posizione comoda, ci è piaciuto moltissimo

The lovely couple that run it - so helpful and friendly, giving us advice on where to go, logistics etc. It was such a nice change from the typical hotel experience void of interaction/ conversation! The banana bread they gave us was divine, thoroughly enjoyed it on our bus to Singapore :)
