The Island of Xanadu

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, very peaceful with all you need but nothing more. Felt special and was quiet without being dull. Couldn't ask for more. Faith was fantastic and very helpful.

Only slight downside was when you first arrive at the farm it isnt very clear that your at the right place.

Property was clean, beautiful relaxing atmosphere which is what we were looking for. Lovely location by the lake where we could sit out on decking enjoy nature and relax.

Had one night here. Very peacful and private with lots of bids singing. The host greeted us with a smile.

There isn't anything I could dislike from one night. It ticked our boxes for what we were looking for.

Everything was perfect! So idyllic, and the photos just don't do this place justice. Only a short walk to the nearest pub (the food and cocktails were delicious!), and then back to the warm, cosiness of this beautiful hideaway! We were even greeted by a gorgeous feline on the grounds of the property, who met us from our car!

Absolutely lovely place to stay so peaceful and relaxing well maintained property with everything you need for a nice break away visited the on site bar too loved all the old original beams and decor made it feel like a step back in time

I would have liked the ability to cook a traditional breakfast but that is really nit-picking. The pod and it's location was exceptional and was just what I needed after a frantic day.

We loved the beautiful green and peaceful location on our own private lake. The lodge has been lovingly crafted and has a small kitchen area, outdoor deck, super king bed and a large new freestanding bath. A great place to unwind and enjoy nature.
