St Patrick's Cottage

Everything! Would give it an 11 if I could. Best accommodation we had in Northern Ireland!.

There was nothing not to like. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Located about 300m off the main road, this is a really peaceful location. Wake up to no other sound than the birds singing. The cottage has a spacious kitchen, dining and sitting room, decorated with imagination on an Irish theme – a really pleasant space to be in. The bedrooms are light and airy, with comfortable beds and the shower room has plenty of space too. St Tassach’s church is just down the road. The National Trust’s Castle Ward only three miles away and the nature reserve at Castle Espie a half hour drive. The ferry takes one over to the east side of the lough and onto a scenic journey to visit the National Trust’s Mount Stewart. Thank you Sarah and Alan for being such welcoming hosts.

The kitchen needs some additional items i.e. tea pot and cafetière, cheese grater and more cooking utensils.

Wonderful quiet scenic location. Lots of extras in the welcome pack and owners offered more of anything we needed. Cottage finished to a high standard and was actually homely not like a holiday let. Excellent shower/water pressure. Lovely and clean. 2 great patio areas to sit in. I cannot think of any negatives

Very private, really good communication with owners, the whole place was immaculate, great setup, would definitely go back.

The cottage really lovely and so well equipped - everything you could wish for, it was in a beautiful location with lovely views - Alan & Sarah were so friendly and welcoming - I would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully we will be back one day!

Location excellent which suited us as we were attending the Irish Open Golf at Royal Co Down . Beautiful cottage with a lovely restaurant and pub close by
