Review for St. Patrick's Cottage St. Patrick's Cottage offered a delightful stay. The décor was impeccable, meeting high standards and boasting unique features that imparted a truly homely vibe. The thoughtful perks were standout; from a hamper of complimentary treats to the stocked fridge with milk and even ice cream in the freezer. The host was welcoming and struck the perfect balance: providing a thorough introduction to the property without being overbearing. This left me free to revel in the splendid setting on my own terms. Another commendable feature was the comfortable, squeak-free bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. A humorous but pleasant surprise was the considerate behavior of the local cows. They seemingly understood the concept of a peaceful retreat and graciously moved to the far end of the field in the evening, ensuring their presence was neither seen nor heard. I wholeheartedly recommend St. Patrick's Cottage to anyone seeking a memorable getaway

The cottage sits in a beautiful location and has everything in it you could want for a holiday home. The hosts are exceptionally pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we’ll be back again.

The cottage was modern and so clean. located near the racecourse in Down Patrick which is exactly what we needed. Alan the owner was so helpful . would stay again when needed

St Patrick’s Cottage was perfect for our short stay as a family of four adults. Helpful and quick communication from our host, this is in a gorgeous tranquil location, well off the main road with fabulous views. It was a great base with easy access to lots of places of interest nearby, eg Downpatrick, Strangford(and by ferry over to Portaferry), Castle Ward, Ballyhornan etc. Gorgeous spacious open plan living room, kitchen and dining area, decorated with such character - so comfortable and with great wifi. Spotlessly clean and finished to a high standard throughout. Highly recommended!
