"Great location, perfect lodge, very relaxing holiday break"

Lovely clean Lodge with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Owner was in touch with us and provided a lovely treat bag for us. The Lodge is situated in a great position near lots of lovely places to visit. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Nothing to dislike.

"one of the most peaceful and calming locations so far"

Serene and peaceful location, probably the most calm i've felt on holiday. The value for money was exceptional and the host provided just about everything we could need from towels and handwash to hot chocolate, crisps and biscuits. The lodge itself is spacious and well equipped with a great seating area to relax with a cuppa.

I would have liked to have more bins available, we had just 1 for a 5 night stay and nowhere to place recyclables. I was unfamiliar with how to use several appliances, they were a bit hi tech and i didnt feel adequate instructions were available. I figured it all out but google was handy. For example i didnt know how to switch the heating on, it took me a while to spot that the plug for the heaters had a small button on the side that acts as a power switch. It also took me a while to figure out using an electric hob.
