Portage Lakes Serenity

I didn't realize it was a downstairs rental. I am mobility challenged so it was extremely difficult to have to go up and down stairs when exiting the space.

The mattress of the bed is not comfortable to sleep....many stairs at the entrance

Absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful part of Ohio! My family and I loved being able to wake up with a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Our hosts were very helpful and kind.

The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. The back yard area had a table and chairs to sit and drink your coffee and watch the pontoons go by. The owners, Dave and Marty, super nice. Had cookies on the table when we arrived and made our Bella dog cookies. We enjoyed Dave's company some evenings. Great stories. They give you your privacy but we enjoyed the company.

Nothing. Oh maybe the bed pillows. I forgot my pillow, so it was hard to get comfortable sometimes.

The house is great and the view is amazing, I wish I could stay and live there! It is an incredible place to stay for family

Very large walkout basement apartment is bigger than most three bedroom places. The back yard with a view of the lake finger is beautiful, the furniture comfortable, the hosts are respectful of privacy and kind enough to meet us with baked goods on the first day. Great climate system, WiFi and updated TV setup.

Just some of the scents typical of damp lake areas in Ohio. Otherwise the pictures are very accurate and there were no unpleasant surprises.

The host had homemade cookies waiting for us & they were delicious! They also provided coffee & a regular coffee maker!
