Posizione eccezionale, Host gentilissimo e disponibile, struttura molto tranquilla

Location is excellent in the centre of town.

The two bedrooms are open on each other which may not suit everyone. There is a VERY steep spiral suitcase up to the bedrooms- it was too narrow to get our bags up and we didn’t find it easy to get up and down (we are young and fit). This flat is not suitable at all for anyone a bit older or with mobility issues.

I will stay away of describing Cividale town entirely for this, as it is beautiful and well worth of having separate review written. We really liked the location of the apartment, you can get anywhere on foot in few minutes. This may not seem significant, but for staying in a specific and beautiful place like Cividale, this is essential. Two bathrooms and two toilets is a very nice feature. The place was clean and well heated (winter time). There were TV sets, but we did not use it as watching TV seems absolutely mad when you are in a place like this... The host was helpful and was available throughout our entire stay. You have to manage your expectations in a specific and historical places like this as there are almost always some downsides to them. But all in all, great atmosphere, great people, very good price. I would come back for sure.

I would say steep spiral stairs are not entirely ideal for small children, old people and some dogs, but we were fine with it - this is most probably a very old building completely renovated so you have to make it work somehow. You have to pass through one bedroom through this staircsse to get to the bottom floor, where kitchen and entrance is so not 100% privacy, but still ok. There could have been a decent kitchen chefs knife, as I like to cook (maybe there was, but I did not find it) :)
