"A quirky house full of history with a super friendly host."

The house is beautifully maintained and full of history - you really feel like you’re stepping back in time. The host was really friendly and, as we were sitting with other guests at breakfast, we all got to know each other, which was great. Breakfast was really good with fresh fruit salad and a choice of hot options.

Nothing - all the quirky things about the house made it even more memorable!

David, our host, was warm, welcoming, and full of fascinating stories about the house and the area. He made us feel right at home, and his attention to detail was impeccable. And the breakfast? Divine. Freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious—easily one of the highlights of our stay. If you're looking for a unique and tranquil escape with charm, comfort, and a touch of history, this manor house is a true gem. We left feeling rested, spoiled, and already dreaming of our next visit.

Incredible historic accommodation with original and in good shape furniture. It is like sleeping in a museum... without the scary part of it... if you don't have a problem with squeaking floors and doors :-) . Beautiful house and garden, parking included. Very good breakfast – you’ll be asked the evening before, what you like.
