Very nice and large property - not new but very well maintained. Execellent staff and facilities.

Everything.. the place, the beach, the staff and the food. What made me in awe was their staff knew who we are and remembered our names even on the first day despite that there were many guests in the resort. They were all very accommodating and most of all honest. I made an excess payment due to wrong total and they gave me the refund before we left for the Seaport. Keep it up!

Our stay at Coco Grove Resort was absolutely perfect. The beachfront setting is stunning, and the entire property is maintained to an exceptional standard—staff are constantly cleaning and even sweeping palm leaves from the sand, which says a lot about the pride they take in the resort. We loved that everything we needed was right on-site. With three excellent restaurants, we ended up enjoying every meal at the resort because we simply didn’t want to leave. One highlight of our stay was a full-day coastal tour around Siquijor arranged through the resort. Our driver and guide, Felmor, was outstanding—knowledgeable, funny, and very flexible. Since it was a private tour, he allowed us to customize our route, and we especially enjoyed sharing lunch and coffee with him while learning more about Filipino culture. Cambugahay Falls was a standout stop, and we had a great time exploring the three-tiered pools (including the famous rope swing!). What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Honey in the restaurant and Christy at the front desk for making our stay even more memorable. We were also impressed that staff remembered and greeted us by name throughout our visit. We stayed for six nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely be back.

Food poisoning During my stay, I unfortunately suffered serious food poisoning after visiting restaurant Salamandas. I was unable to leave the resort for four days and spent the entire night vomiting, which had a major impact on my holiday. It was also disappointing that the manager of the restaurant stated that, in his view, nothing on their side was to blame. There was no form of compensation offered in any way, which was highly disappointing. It also felt as though my food poisoning was not taken seriously. This is not what you would expect from a five-star resort of this standard. Highly disappointing. That said, the rest of the stay was very pleasant. The other staff members were friendly, helpful, and contributed to an otherwise enjoyable experience.
