When we arrived our first reaction was 'WOW". The apartment is in a fabulous location, close to many food outlets, historic buildings, a market and shops. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, colourful and a little quirky with many interesting objects scattered around. There were mosquito screens for the windows, which we were pleased to have after experiencing several bites previously. The bedrooms were large and pleasant and the kitchen provided a gas cooktop and an oven not to mention a dishwasher. Sabina met us at the apartment and gave us the keys and maps and tourist information of Palermo. These were much appreciated and used frequently. Thank you. We bought a 3 day bus pass which was very useful to have and then for the last trip bought single journey passes at a tobacco shop. Easy going. We recommend a visit to Palazzo Conte Federico. Very interesting with great history. This is open from 11.00 to 3.00 with tours running on the hour. Well worth a visit.

The shower is smallish but manageable by me as I am very small. The shower rose fell down several times and the water would go from hot to cold to hot frequently. It took us a few showers to learn how to manage it a little more successfully. A drying rack for washing would have made life a little easier. However we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay there very much. I am happy to highly recommend this apartment to other travellers.

Casa Anita is certainly wonderfully decorated, and boasts an excellent location. Having two bedrooms was a real pleasure after traveling with our daughter for a month, and the living room was quite spacious. There are some great cafes and bars nearby, and you're a short walk from multiple tourist attractions.

While we appreciated the asthetic of the property, it certainly didn't feel 'family friendly' to need to move multiple fragile art pieces so that our 18-month-old daughter would not damage them. We requested a baby crib at the time of booking, but arrived to find none present. While one was eventually provided, we had to have our daughter co-sleep with us for two nights, which was not ideal. The kitchen is oddly equipped. While there were three or four mocha pots for making coffee, there wasn't a single pot capable of boiling water, so we could not cook our daughter porridge or make pasta of an evening. Lastly, the shower was a nightmare. It was either scalding hot or ice cold, with no amount of finessing of the faucet capable of finding a happy medium. While my wife and I could endure alternating between intense heat and cold, our daughter could not, and we had to bathe her in the sink.

I loved the size of the property, the location as I wanted something central was excellent! Very comfortable with everything you need.

We had such a great time - the flat was perfect! It is huge, nice style, lovely and super clean and located in the middle of everything. Even it's located in the centre it was absolutely quiet at night. The host welcomed us warmly and we got some nice tipps for Palermo. Thank you for this great stay!

The apartment is right in the city center. You can reach Quatro Canti in just 2minutes walk, Vucciria also in 2minutes walk. Absolutely perfect location. If you are looking for a house in the center, this is it! This apartment is very functionally structured with easy access to everywhere, so staying here with my two kids were very convenient. It has AC in the living room and also in the master bedroom, but the house itself quickly cools down during the night so we barely used the AC. We had a car and finding a free parking space around the house was relatively easier than expected! Get ZTL pass 5euro per day, and then you can find free parking space on the road. Antonio and his mother were very nice greet us for the check-in. We definitely recommend this house and would like to come again 💚
