Shree Sai Beach Stay

Great value for money, the location was really great if you want somewhere a bit more peaceful. Just a heads up though that it is a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest road and main beach. I knew this already so it wasn't a shock for me. The view from my balcony was incredible and very relaxing. There is also a little shop run by the accommodation next door so you don't have to go far to get snacks and drinks. You've also got the Sweet Water Lake and beach next to the accommodation, although you are reliant on the tide.

The room is missing a few basics, maybe a small broom to sweep the balcony every so often. The biggest thing though was the bathroom has a window with vents but no glass or insect mesh so it meant at night loads of bugs would get in. There is also a gap in the wall between the bathroom and bedroom so no escaping all the bugs getting everywhere. Easy fix with insect mesh. The electric seemed a bit temperamental and a couple of the nights, the fan was barely spinning making it very hot. Wifi as well was only available in one corner of the room (balcony was best for wifi), yet I got loads of signal on the beach from quite a distance. Looking at the map, I thought the route between the main beach and accommodation would be a lovely coastal walk but it's just dark shops. Not the accommodations fault, just a shame.

I really enjoyed everything.l booked another week. Crashing waves, quieter beach next to sweet lake.

Just a little out of the way~ but that has its advantages! So much litter left on beach and rocks!
