La Corte dei Nespoli

We had a lovely time while staying in this house. The hosts were very nice and welcomed us with a smile even if we arrived a little too early. The house itself is very spacious, clean and very well eqiupped, we really didn't expect the kitchen to have so many tools. The beds were very comfortable and big, we also appreciated the washing mashine, after the beach day it came in handy for sure ;) All of us came back home well rested and happy, thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful property in the heart of the town and yet quiet once the main doors are shut. An oasis. Fantastic hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Santos even took me to a great cake shop to buy my husband his birthday cake and gave him a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate.

WiFi kept dropping in and out.

The accommodation was absolutely wonderful: beautifully arranged, spotless, and full of charm. The terrace with lemon trees added a magical touch to our mornings and evenings. We were especially delighted by the presence of the loving dog, who made our experience even warmer. Above all, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and always ready to offer helpful information and recommendations. We truly felt at home and we will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

It is a palace in the downtown, spacious accommodation, large inner courtyard with parking among the narrow streets of the inner city. The hosts are as friendly as possible, we received lots of useful tips, they really made our holiday in Sicily more enjoyable.

Everything was perfect.

The very best accommodation we could imagine cleaniness, comfort and location wise. Massimino and his wife, our landlords were the kindest, most helpful people to be around. We couldn't have found a better place to spend our vacation.

Everything. The location was great, 5 mins walk to town. The size of the property was so spacious, excellent for a family. It felt like a real home from home, not the usual standard holiday home. Everything was of a very high standard. In fact never stayed in such a fantastic property. Cant recommend highly enough, Santos and Rita were excellent hosts, friendly, kind and helpful. We will return in future.

Rarely somebody can find better hosts as Rita and Massimino are! They were always ready to support, offering the best choices for any request. The property is excellent located and equipped with anything necessary to make you comfortable!

The house is in the city centre within walking distance to everything you might need. Groceries, restaurants, shopping or ocean is just a walk away. This is an old town that is very picturesque. The house has a very homey feeling and does not feel like a vacation home. You will feel at home right away. The hoses are so friendly and helpful with anything you might need.

My friends and I spent a wonderful 4 days at La Corte dei Nespoli. Besides the beautiful house, what made our trip truly enjoyable were our hosts. Santo Massimino was very kind and welcomed us as if we were close friends. We were given recommendations on the best places to visit, how to get there, and which restaurants were the most delicious, among other things. I also really enjoyed the quiet, cozy town of Acireale, with its delicious restaurants and lovely shops. It's a charming place close to Catania and conveniently located near both Taormina and Siracusa. Unlike other places, Acireale is not overly touristy, so you can get a real sense of how the local population lives here without the crowds of tourists, which was perfect for me. I can sincerely recommend this place for your vacation, and I really hope to return more than once.

These aren't disadvantages, but there are a few things to keep in mind when planning your trip. If you're traveling by car, here are two important things to know: - To enter Acireale, you'll need to take a section of the toll road. It's not expensive, but it might be worth considering a telepass to avoid the hassle of getting a ticket each time. We missed the correct exit once and are now waiting for a fine. - Entering the courtyard can be tricky—you need to be an experienced driver to make the maneuver. Santo is very helpful and shows you how to do it, but if you have limited driving experience, driving in Sicily, in general, can be challenging.
