Lucky Transit Hotel - Katunayake Airport

Only positive was convenient location near the airport.

The "free transfer" almost made us miss our flight. It was so late that we were panic messaging local taxis to try find someone to come get us, not once did the staff apologise or give us an update for how long it would be, we repeatedly asked them to call the driver to check why he was so late and how much longer it would be but they just ignored us. The room was also very uncomfortable, the loudest ac that you can't sleep to even on sleep mode, the shower soaks everything in the whole bathroom, bed was like a rock, elevator didn't work, terrible wifi. They overcharged us on check in and were not friendly at all.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lucky Transit Hotel. It was no problem for the hotel owner to pick us up at the airport in the middle of the night. The rooms are very spacious and clean, which is very important to us.

It was a Last Minute booking and I arrived in the middle of the night. I was picked up at the airport and I felt very welcomed and taken care of. They even helped me organize a driver for my next stay.

The hotel is clean but the area is close to a busy Street, not a touristic area

Staff where very helpfull, and arranged breakfast and car to sth of Sri Lanka for us. Pick up from airport included made a hassel free arrival.

The front door of the hotel gets chain up at night, was a fire danger in my mind! also a hassel if u wanted to go for a walk early due to jet lag.

We stayed only very briefly after our arrival in Colombo, the staff were very helpful and accomodating. After a long flight the beds were so comfortable and we slept so well. It was fun to wander the streets early the next morning and watch all the kids heading to school.

Property staff was so kind and happy to work around our departure times and prepared our breakfast earlier then opening time. Excellent service
