Loved everything, but the balcony as a viewing point yo watch the wildlife - swallows, deer, rabbits, owls, and into the night the shooting stars was very special. We love being outside, lots of space for the kids to run about. Perfect location.

"Comfortable, scenic, restful, perfect!"

The property is stunning. Very well looked after and of course in such a beautiful and peaceful location. The facilities were prepared for our stay with fresh clean towels, a fully working kitchen with milk ready in the fridge, and clean bedding neatly laid out ready for a good nights rest. The views are something else. Beautiful scenery as far as the eye could see, and a balcony to enjoy it from, our we also had the pleasure of enjoying the views from the garden below. Our lovely host Colin was incredibly hospitable, helping us with our bags and giving us an overview of the property and the local area; offering to help us further should we need anything. We loved our stay and hope to revisit for longer in the future.

Nothing to dislike!

"Mooi en ruim appartement met een prachtig uitzicht."

Het is een prachtig ruim appartement met een mooi uitzicht. De keuken is goed uitgerust en er zijn meerdere zitplekken. Alles is heel netjes afgewerkt. Leuk gesprek gehad met de verhuurder en wat tips gekregen wat we niet mochten missen in de omgeving (Leaderfoot Viaduct uit Indiana Jones, Scott's view en het William Wallace statue). Locatie is ook prima, Galashiels ligt op 10 minuten rijden met leuke restaurantjes (Paolo's Italian!) en meerdere supermarkten. Vanuit Galashiels prima treinverbinding naar Edinburgh.

Weinig, de bedden waren iets te zacht voor onze smaak.

The property was spacious, comfortable with all modern amenities and in a beautiful location. Colin the owner was an excellent host, couldn’t do enough to make our stay any better.
