Nice new apartment, well equipped. Kind host. Convenient location close to the airport and also close to big grocery store.

Communication with the host was mixed between two languages: some messages where in Italian, while other were in English. Most important messages like insructions for checking in were in Italian language. After google translating it, it brought some difficulties when trying to get into apartment, because the name of the apartment which is written on the door bell was also translated and we could not find the apartment, going to different floors and looking for translated name on the door bell.

I had the worst experience since I've been using booking, I stayed one night, arrived around 7 pm and left at 5 am in the morning. In the evening the owner contacted me to ask if we broke the induction hob. I explained to her countless times that we didn't touch it in any way and asked for pictures of the broken hob, pictures that I attach. Today I receive a message from booking that the property says that I didn't respect the terms and conditions and that I should pay 250E for damages?! Anyway, hypothetically speaking, even if we had caused that damage, although we didn't cause it, that hob in an advanced state of wear and tear has no way of being worth 250E, and anyway I think it's covered by insurance. In my opinion, it's an attempted fraud and I will also notify the police or other legal bodies that can verify the situation. Be careful if you book here because you could run into this situation. I will attach also the picture that I received from the property so you wil considerl if I could have done something like this as a tourist without special tools like a chisel or is this an attempted scam.
