On The Mekong Resort

Ce lieu est atypique, pas vraiment un hôtel, plutôt des chambres d'hôte. Et c'est ce qui fait toute la richesse du séjour : les hôtes ! Henry et toute sa jeune équipe sont absolument charmants et aux petits soins. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir des longues discussions à la table du petit déjeuner ! En plus de cela, le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques, la vue sur le Mekong extraordinaire. Enfin, le service de Tuktuk à la demande pour rejoindre le centre ville est appréciable (le retour en taxi est très bon marché). Nous avons passé un très bon séjour (un peu comme chez des amis).

Il ne faut pas s'attendre à une chambre d'hôtel standardisée, mais la literie est confortable, la clim fonctionne très bien et tout est très propre.

We stayed at the resort for a week, and from the very beginning we wished we could have stayed for at least a month. What immediately stands out is the local flair and simplicity that make you feel part of Laotian life, while still enjoying all the comforts expected by Western travelers. Words would not be enough to describe the warm welcome, helpfulness, and kindness of Henry and all his staff. We are travelers who love to move around, explore independently, venture beyond the usual tourist routes, and connect with the local people. At the same time, we truly appreciate having a comfortable and clean room where we can recover after long days of adventure — and for all of this, this was undoubtedly the perfect place for us. We cannot wait to come back.

This place is beyond words. From the moment we arrived, we were completely captivated. The property itself is absolutely beautiful — cozy, elegant, and surrounded by truly exceptional views that make you stop and simply take it all in. Every detail has been thought through with incredible taste. The decoration and atmosphere are outstanding: warm, refined, and effortlessly inviting. The rooms are extremely comfortable, making it impossible not to feel instantly at home. We loved our stay so much that we actually canceled the rest of our holiday plans just to extend our time here — and honestly, that says everything. Absolutely nothing , everything is outstanding

The room was very clean and tended to every day, with free water and good AC. The breakfast was delicious and served directly at the river terrace. Henry and his staff members were always super helpful, up for a little chat and gave good tips what to visit in Luang Prabang. They can also organize transport to and from the airport, to the bus stations and to any place in the city. And the place itself is just beautiful to spend time as well.

wir waren das zweite mal bei henry und seit unserem aufenthalt vor drei jahren wurde ein pool errichtet - außerdem wohnten wir diesmal in einer villa mit 45 qm - und die direkte lage am mekong

preise für die unterkunft sind gestiegen - durch das neue pool auch teilweise berechtigt ist aber nur ein hinweis und fällt nicht unter "nicht gefallen"
