Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom, a wonderful host who advised on restaurants and was friendly and kind. Private parking.

The room was clean, there was hot water and there was parking

There were no facilities to make a hot drink in the room - no kettle, no Nespresso machine. There were no glasses or cups in the room at all, not even plastic tumblers in the bathroom. There was water in a fridge that the owner turned on as we arrived but nothing to drink it from except the bottle. The air con unit did not work. The plug in the sink did not fit so all the water drained out immediately. There was no opportunity to make a hot drink in the breakfast room as there was no kettle and the coffee machine was turned off except at breakfast. There was a balcony but the chairs were so hard they were impossible to sit on. Cereal was offered at breakfast but there was no milk other than for making latte, there was only plain yoghurt. The Wifi was awful and barely worked. There wasnt a light switch in the hall outside our room so we had to fumble our way in the dark until we reached one. Given this was a bed and breakfast (not self catering), we expected our room to be cleaned and the bed to be made. That didnt happen. There was Astroturf around the parking area but there was clearly a dog at the property as there were faeces on it - most unpleasant.
