The eyes of Peccioli

L'appartamento è molto accogliente e curato, dotato di tutti i confort, gli host sono stati gentilissimi e molto disponibili, Peccioli si è rivelata una bella scoperta!! La posizione è perfetta in pieno centro con una vista eccezionale sul paesaggio circostante ed è parte di una delle opere d'arte più riconoscibili della città!! È stata un'esperienza da ripetere!!

The location was great, literally two minutes walk from the centre of town. The house itself was very well equipped and modern. Great communication from the host. Free parking was tremendous. Great gifts on arrival from the host. Whilst there is no outdoor space with the apartment there is public seating where you can enjoy the views with a gin and tonic in the evening.

The air conditioning struggled to cope in the very hot weather. It was very hot inside despite two air conditioners. The internet wasn’t great speed. Struggled with buffering when watching things on line.

L'appartamento, soppalcato, è molto gradevole esteticamente. Essendo però ricavato da una cantina, è sempre presente una forte umidità ed uno sgradevolissimo odore di muffa. La proprietà ha cercato di rimediare a ciò con un deumidificatore portatile molto piccolo e chiaramente insufficiente per la volumetria del locale. Anche i due split (condizionatore) presenti sono poco potenti e inefficaci, e non riescono a rendere salubre e più gradevole l'aria. In questa situazione è difficile dormire e anche bagaglio e abiti restano impregnati di sgradevole umidità e acre odore di muffa.

Perccioli We recently had the pleasure of staying at Merlini’s family apartment in Peccioli, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine kindness. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of traditional Italian charm and modern comforts. The spacious areas were well-appointed, with comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare our meals, although the local restaurants were also tempting with their delicious offerings. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning view from the apartment. We spent our mornings sipping coffee while admiring the picturesque Tuscan landscape, and our evenings enjoying the serene sunsets. The location of the apartment was ideal, providing a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to Peccioli’s charming town center. Merlini’s family went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. They provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and wineries. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable and added a personal touch to our visit. In summary, our two-day stay at Merlini’s family apartment in Peccioli was simply perfect. The combination of a beautiful apartment, breathtaking views, and outstanding hospitality made for an exceptional experience. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to explore the heart of Tuscany.

The place was fantastic. The owners were amazing and made us feel so welcome. Providing lovely touches like free wine, biscuits and so much more. They went way above and beyond to make us feel at home.

We were the first guests to stay so everything was literally brand new. The place was spotless and very comfortable with everything you need to self cater. Not that we did because round the corner in the next street was a fabulous restaurant. Free parking underneath the property meant you could come and go easily. Central location in heart of the old town. Views of the countryside from front of the house and the building is a living art work. Owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful and are a local family. Came for the music festival didn't want too leave. Hard to not give it a 11 out of 10.
