The Sheiling holiday home with gorgeous views over the isles

The location was great.

The house was a little basic

Perfect location and very comfortable home for a relaxing stay. The views are stunning and the garden has lovely sun spots where you can take it all in. Spectacular sunsets and a glimpse of the aurora one night. Frida our Spanish Water dog had a wonderful time - all the beaches met with her (and our) approval. The one at the end of the road was a favourite, we had it to ourselves. The advice from the hosts was very welcome particularly regarding obtaining fuel as the Mallaig petrol station is being refurbished and the nearest station for petrol is currently Fort William - quite a long drive away. We can recommend the Tea Garden and the Crab and Creel fish restaurant in Mallaig.

Going home - we would like to return.

Stunning home in a stunning location, everything you could want was provided at The Sheiling, and as a base to explore that part of Scotland it was simply perfect 👌 it's a 10/10 from me ❤️

There was honestly nothing I didn't like

The view from the living room is amazing. Loved sitting having breakfast looking out the huge window every morning.

Nothing

The location was fabulous just a short walk away from a few beautiful beaches! The cottage itself was clean, well furnished and very, comfortable with plenty of room . The enclosed garden was great for our dogs, also enjoyed seeing the neighbouring farm animals! We also had a chat with one of the few neighbours and they were really nice and welcoming to the area! Our host was very helpful before arriving with regards to check in, local amenities and trips etc

I can honestly say there were no negatives!
